While Janis A. Barlow & Associates is an independent sole proprietorship, the firm has established relationships with two groups of independent consultants who share similar values.

The Theatre Planning Group (TPG) is an international association of independent project consultants that exists to provide a complete range of business, architectural  and project consulting services from experienced practitioners. TPG advocates:

  • meticulous research

  • form following function

  • massing of facilities

  • phased development

  • blended campaigns.

Those Women are seven experienced arts managers now working as consultants in the field.  We believe that the arts are essential to a creative, vibrant and civil society, and we share a passionate commitment to artists and their organizations.
